Default cold air intake.

am considering a cold air intake for my '05 h2. does it really make any difference to performance/mpg other than look "cool"?
any recommendations on manufacturer?
thanx

Well, I can't really pin point performance/MPG cause I did my Magnaflow ehhaust at the same time as my VOLANT CAI........But, I did get almost 3 extra MPG plus a bunch of extra horses as my Rig became ALOT more responsive!!!

I dont have one yet but if you go to the K&N website you can see the dyno graph for your vehicle and see where the power came in at and how much power they made.

I am running an Airaid CAI with Tube, I am seeing about 3 more mpg with the magnaflow exhaust. With the performance curves in the computer I got 14mpg on the highway from Charlotte to Atlanta last week.

Default Airaid

I just installed an Airaid system w/tube on my 2005 H2. Feels "peppy" off the line now....not sure on MPG yet, I have only had it installed for a week now.
