Went on a decent trail here in AZ with a good amount of rock crawling involved. The rear axle had enough articulation at one point to pull the drivers side air bag apart at the bottom seam, broke the plastic locking tabs at the top and pulled the air line out all at the same time...made for a fun rest of the day being that I was on about mile 15 of a 30 mile trail.
I want to do away with the air ride and replace it with standard coils. Has anyone done this? If so, what type of springs did you use? I have the Rancho 4" lift installed that actually raised the truck about 5 1/2". I want to do away with the rear blocks that came with the lift that the bags ride on and make up that distance with a longer spring.
