my A4 came with cloth seats....and at first they where fine but i soon found that they water spot like a son of bitch...why? i have cloth seats and nothing like this, i would not expect this from an Audi..

 

This is more of a preference... as a buyer you should be more concerned with the comfort over anything else.

I personally can't stand leather. After I bought my H3T with cloth seats I performed the same routine I do with every new car I own for the past 10 years; bought a can of scotch guard and applied it on them. Now my seats repel water and anything that could potentially stain like magic with no change in fabric feel.

Love the cloth seats in this truck, very supportive and comfortable on long trips
