Default Converting manual cloth seats to power leather? Whose done it?

Has anyone actually converted their manual cloth seats to power leather. I am really interested in doing it for my 2006 h3, but don't wanna go about buying the seats if its impossible to do.

Im not sure about the power seat conversion, but you can buy custom seat covers from coverking.com , they build custom covers that fit the H3 and you can specify any material you want. Should cost around $600 front and back for "Premium Leatherette" material.

This is the user that has successfully done this..He may give more insight if you PM him..He told me the whole process and that led me to just place mine for sale instead of trying it..

A bunch of people here know the answer to this simple question. I would ask that you respect the members, stop digging up 2 YEAR OLD threads, and stop asking this question on multiple occasions.

Ask your question once, in one new thread, and WAIT for your answer.

The swap to leather H3 seats is a simple direct bolt in. Been done 100s of times. The electrical harness is already run under the driver seat. Depending upon which year the donor is and which year the recipient is, the plug at the end of the wiring harness is either a direct snap in, or you will have to make your own connection to it because GM did change that under seat plug sometime during the 2008 model year.
