It's a sealed unit that typically GM says you have to replace the entire unit... However there are bulbs in there that can be replaced w/ LEDs = problem solved... Ill have to search out which ones...

The one in the middle is busted. I ordered replacements and received three so I might as well change the 3.

But I need your help how to do it.....

Thanks in advance

With a small screwdriver pry back on the face plate that surrounds the radio and temp controls at the very top, once you have it started then pry back down the sides and it will pop out. Then disconnect all the wire connections, you may also want to move the gearshift down out of the way. With the face plate now in hand pry the tabs away carefully on the back of the heater control ***** while pulling the box out at the same time, you may want to use a couple of credit cards to keep the tabs from snapping back into place. Once in, the three bulbs just twist out. This whole proceedure should only take 15 minutes. The only place to find the bulbs was on Ebay the dealer will not have these. The window switch bulbs are also the same. Heres the link for the bulbs.

I bought bulbs off ebay that were direct fit replacements. Spent more time taking apart the module.

the module should not take more than a couple of minutes as long as you keep the taps from snapping back into place for those of you reluctant to attemp this proceedure
