Default Clear Turn Signals....

How hard are the clear turn signals that they sell on eBay to install? I know that I will have to take the grille off, just wonderin how hard it is to get off... I put the lower grille with the fog lights on and that was cake, how does this compare?

The grill is held in with 6 screws (apparently 4 on the early 06s) and a couple friction clips. Remove the screws and pull the corners forwardby the signals.

The front grill has to come off as well as the inner fender panels. About a 90 minute install.

I have an 07 and only removed the front grill and was able to change the side markers and turn signals. I did not have to remove the inner fenders on mine.

It won't be bad at all. Of those 90 minutes, 70 are on the first side figuring out the clips for the wheel well liners (easy, pull down the insert in the middle of the clip, then pull the whole clip out) and 20 minutes on the second side. Vader pulled off his wheels; I left mine on.

I've got a big head and **** so I needed the roomand I pulled my wheels. Damn those are heavy!! If I had it to do over I'd switch the bulbs out too. As you can see in my pic they have a yellow cast.

Oh, yeah, I forgot, as Vader said you probably want to change the bulbs to the stealth bulbs or whatever they are called. The don't show as yellow until they are lit; the rest of the time there might be a very slight bluish reflection in the lens.
