Default changing the water pump

Has anyone changed the water pump in a 2006 H3 3.5L? I searched this thread and didn't have any luck, unless I used the wrong search terms (sorry if this is redundant). I have 130k miles on my H3 and just started hearing what might be a bearing grind sound from behind the fan. I am looking for any helpful hints or pitfalls before jumping in.

Thanks!

Super easy, hardest part is getting the shroud out of the way.

See this thread, you may have to join CHO to see it if the link does not work for you. Water Pump Replacement

overall its not bad, getting the damn fan off is the worst. I broke the bolts holding water pump on the first time so use a torque wrench

I think the spec on the water pump bolts is around 89 IN lbs (not foot) around 7.5 foot lbs. Best to use a 1/4" drive if you don't have the torque wrench. Easy to break off.

The pump is easy, the Tstat is a hard bitch to get to. I just did pump, fan clutch, Tstat, upper and lower hoses, belt, tensiner and idler.

All that took maybe 5 hours and the fan shroud is kinda tricky lol. It took a minute to figure when to wiggle and when to pull up but I've got it figured out now and its easy.
