After reading many comments it seems the best action for me now is to change my Air Ride bags to Springs rather than buying two new bags.

I have purchased two replacement Springs and the bits that go at each end.

My question is........once the springs are in place is it still possible to use the compressor with the out let at the back (found in the boot/trunk)?
The one with an on/off switch near the door.

Also, is there anything I should do regarding the up/down switch on the dash board?

 

I changed mine out and their is nothing you have to do with the button on the dash. I don't know about making the compressor work some how, but if you don't disconnect the wiring that goes to the compressor, you will get codes.

 

there is a way to make compressor still work for use front trunk for filling whatever, I read it on one of these threads, trying to remember exact method but I do remember they said the air lines that would run to each airbag you run one from one compressor to the other and I think block the other compressor line use a pipe plug or whatever fits they called it deadheading the lines I think, and this would work and not set off codes because it would trick everything to read full....youll have to look further for exact info but I know its possible
