I am changing the factory navi radio in my h3 alpha 2008, I want to use the factory amp still and everything, and I have no cares given about keeping onstar. Just want a better head unit that will let me use usb for my ipod and such.. does anyone know what wiring harness I need to buy?? I see like 4 listed haha so I have no idea and don't wanna order one and find out I was wrong..


factory head unit is a touch screen with navi using a DVD as the navi disk, nice unit and id keep it only if I had a aux or usb port.. otherwise my factory monsoon system sounds pretty good for factory. (oh and I have a basslink to help the bass) goes well with the factory sub :P

You will need a metra gmos-04 to inter grate with factory monsoon and nav. It will retain on star and r.a.p. as well. I just installed a pioneer CarPlay capable unit in my 2007 h3. It's the appradio4, I can post some pics if you'd like.
