CEL comes on when A/C is in use
I know I know, the cel cones on alllllll the time. But if I use my A/C, and, I idle in park or get caught in traffic, my cel comes on. When the A/C is turned off, it eventually clears. Wtf?
Now I find myself wanting to believe what you say.
But really, it's not a new concept. I tell my kids what the outcome is going to be from the actions they take before it happens allll the time. They dont want to listen either. Nevertheless, the data already exists.

Is there a message on the DIC or is it just the check engine idiot light?
Have a scan done at the local auto parts store or go on ebay and buy one of the blutooth OBDII readers ($20-$60) and down load the Torq app for free.

My bad I had a reply there that was supposed to go on another thread. My truck is a little troublesome. I have had Onstar scan the code. I don't know if they just give a dumbed down explaination. They said "unexpected fuel consumption, you may feel loss of power"
Yah, not really a code
