just wondering if anyone here has removed the cats on 3.7L H3 or H3T? what kind of gains? and is it worth it? thanks

If anyone where to answer this I am sure their answer would be purely hypothetical since it would be illegal to remove or alter the Cats, and it would be really dumb to post about breaking the law.

Search, this is an old topic. Much more gains elsewhere w/o the hassle.

 

I got the 3.7L in my T also and what I would say to get would be.

-PCM E-fan Kit
-PCM Tune
-K&N Intake System
-Jet High Flow Mass Air Flow Sensor
-Flowmaster 40 Series
-Ac Delco Iridium Spark Plugs
-SuperSparkz Ignition Coil Spark Plug Spring Delete

With this set up I'm 15 MPG on the street and almost 20 MPG on the highway. The MAFS is getting change back to stock soon and on my next list is polished throttle body.

If you want you and gut the cat that is built into the header, I hear mixed things about it.
