Oh well.

So at least we know that if the part fails, it is still out there
See someone out there is paying attention.

Is this a Shreader Valve or a "Schrader Valve", I think it may be the latter spelling.

If so it looks like they are available, I even see a core removal tool is it really such a small component, like a pneumatic tyre valve?

I haven't had time to check part numbers etc but if the cost is small perhaps its worth ordring replacements.

Any thoughts?

If I remember correctly the low side can be changed but the high side you have to take the top section of the fitting off. I don't believe you can do this with the system pressured up.

I'll step out in my shop and take a look, I've got a few extras laying around.

Actually I have to apologize. It was the high side line that I had to replace. It has a plastic ball inside of an aluminum fitting which is the valve, that is non repairable.

The low pressure side has an orifice that can be replaced. It is similar to a tire valve stem. There is a special tool and you have to make sure you use the correct orifice. I just bought a kit for about 5 bucks that came with three different sizes. Auto zone I think.

If you are not sure of where it is leaking you can recharge it with dye and use a special light that comes with the kit.
