Default A/C Leak?

OK, figure this one out. While driving in the AM my windshield will condensate on the outside in 3 semi circular spots on the lower edge. I don't have the selector switch set to defrost so it's not supposed to be blowing cold air on the windshield. I wonder if I have a leak in the ductwork letting air blow upthrough the defroster ducts? Of course this is Florida and it's like living in a fishbowl in the summer so the humidity is an issue. But I don't think this is supposed to happen.... Your thoughts?

Ah ha. Make a joke about my Michigan snow, and my AC reply is coming back to haunt you!!!!!

On the hot muggy days here, ain't had one in a while, my windshield does not do what you are describing. Just for the heck of it, try switching back and forth btween AC, then defrost a few times, give it 5 seconds at least between each switch. I'm just wondering if you duct diverter (valve) is stuck and not closing all the way when on AC? Mine works good, I really like the fog effect when I first kick it on during a humid day.

Hey RealJeep, mine did the same thing a few months ago here in Texas. I did just what Doc Olds said to do. Worked it a few times and now it's fine. The good old days of cable driven valve and a slide-bar **** are gone.

It may just be condensation from the glass being chilled by the a/c.
So cars always have a little air comming out the defrost vents to keep the windshield clear.

You know, I never tried that. I rarely ever have use for a defroster here in central FLA. I'll work thecontrols over tomorrow morning as I'm headed to Tampa to get my new STEERING SHAFT! YEA!!!! No more clunking!!!
