2004 H2:
Currently running BFG LT315/70R17 121/118R; thinking about going to a D-load rating but have been told the ride is "stiffer." I have separate tires for trails, won't be hauling too often ... so the new tires would be on road only. Should I go to a 8ply or stick with what I've been running on 6ply;
Also found a deal on BFG LT315/70R17 113/110S (is this too close to load capacity?) ... any thoughts appreciated.

 

Purchased LT315 70R17 BFG KO2 LR E 121/118S ... decided to go 10ply for only $850 set of 4 new. Take care all...

 

The stock tires are D rated, the E rated BFG are obviously stiffer than the D but they do ride pretty well for an E.

 

$850 is pretty good. The stock tires cost me $250 each and that was 5 years ago.
