Wife backed into a guard rail today. Damaged the rear bumper and the plastic part just in front of the bumper. Not the painted portion, the black plastic part just before the bumper. It is a 2010 H3. Any idea what this part is called and where it can be purchased? Found places to purchase the bumper itself.

 

You can try GMPARTS Distributor.com If you dont know the name or part # they have a phone # so you can talk to someone 1-866-546-2333. Hummer parts online does buisness strictly by the internet and wont provide a phone# otherwise you will have to pay dealer price on a new part.

 

You should be able to figure out what parts you need from this. They didn't have 2010 Hummers listed but it should be the same.

Do you have a factory OEM hitch?
There are 2 different bumpers, standard bumper & bumper with a cutout notch for the hitch.

If you need a standard bumper, I have a Rear Bumper & Step Pad that I took off my H3 when I installed an OEM Hitch.
