Two days ago my ABS traction control light came on. They have been going on and off intermediately. Today while driving the brakes locked up without me even touching the brake pedal... Twice! Anyone ever heard of this happening?

 

That's a first-time for me.

 

That may be whats happening to mine, thought it was just limp mode but it was pretty severe, ordered new pcm and bcm , will let u know, it takes week or so for parts

 

Pcm and Bcm replaced, works good now, we will see last time I thought I had it fixed lasted for 6 months

 

Do you have a sun roof?

If so, ever clean the sun roof drains, because if they get clogged and leak down into the A pillar, the BCM gets wet and all kinds of electrical havoc can happen after that.

 

What trouble codes did you originally have set that caused traction control and abs lights to come on?

 

Ya it got soaked as I blew a drain tube off, my wife didnt know she had water coming in till one day I got in noticed 1 inch water lol

 

My obd scanner showed nothing, all the threads I read about expensive repairs that did not work I thought 650 for new computer, BCM, inc relearn and crank positioning relearn and gas pedal I would start there
