I bought my used 07 H3 about 3 months ago. When I went to get my oil change I was told it would be extra because of the skid plate, after the oil change I was told there was never one on the truck. I was reading through some forums about painting the skid plate and such, but didn't see anything about getting a replacement one. The only place I really found was gmpartsdirect.com, which I would have to buy the skid plate and splash shield? Can anyone please guide me in the right direction.

 

Try a wrecking yard before you buy a new one. Ya never know. Just call some in your area. Give them about a week or so. They might surprise you. Good luck mate.-M

BTW the front aluminium one is called a splash shield. The black steel one further back is a skid plate. If you have neither, you should buy both.

It would seem an obvious conclusion that the prior ownwer never left the pavement and was clueless.
