What does you H3 idle at guys ? 1000rpms as Dilo said is I think more then mine.... If I am not mistake mine idles just above the first line, so aboce 500rpms..... if you get a chance Dilo can you take a look at yours?? when its cold it might be a bit higher, but if I drive for a while, its right about there

 

Raffi I check out mine when you first start it it goes to 1000 rpms i put it in drive still 1000 rpms then once it warm up it went to 500 rps like you said.

I konw my 4 runners always stayed at 1000rpm diff motor but you never knew they where running at a stop these H3 are rough ideling which i have to get use to

 

Mine revs on start up to about 1200 RPM (Hot) and then idles down to about 600 RPM (Hot)...Course I have a Cold air intake and Free flowing exhaust, I don't know if that makes a difference[sm=nerd.gif]

 

So the way it idles seem to right.... now the question is what is with the rpm drop, honestly I can't even tell what it is exactly as when I look at the rpms its usually too late as it happens very fast. It seems like a vibration going through the engine and car as though AC was comming on, but it happens when AC is on and off, this it can't be the AC...... I wonder if anyone else experienced this

 

I know what you're trying to explain...I think it maybe an issue with the mass airflow sensor (MAF)..I've seen this before...It's a small part on your intake..An Easy fix too....But whatever it is, it aint normal for the spuratic idling..Take it in soon.

I also noticed today this happens when I back up while parking, it almost seemed like it is going to die on me..... this is only the second time it happened on backup so I forgot all about it..... I will definitely mention this to my daler, my car is going in for some major work any day now,,,,, I have so many things wrong with it you would not believe.... last time i took it in to replace a sunroof they made such a mess in my car that I was going to shot each of the mechanics.
