You can get a black grill from hummer parts online.

But they still want 315.00 for it. I would either line X it, or paint it (or have it painted) with "trim paint" so that it looks like the front bumper, but that's my prefference. Gloss black couls look nice too.. it all depends on your view of what looks better.

As for ours, my wife likes the chrome... [8D] Soooo... I guess we'll be sticking with that for a while. If it ever gets beat up, it will be getting blacked out.

LOL @ sugardaddy's post

Fireman, I really appreciate you finding that for me - in all honesty I think I might do that & take it to a body shop to have it painted to match my truck, that way if I ever have a change in heart I can just switch out the grill

19156161 Grille Black Grille Package
does that mean that the grill would be already painted black (maybe for the H3x, as it has a body colored grill)

I like the Black on Black look....

Mike, talking about needing sunglasses due to all the chrome... I had a co-worker ask me to stop parking in front of her window because the chrome was hurting her eyes.... I wanted to tell her to go to hell but I sucked it up and now park in front of another window![sm=bling.gif][sm=bling.gif]

To me the rest of the truck is screaming NO BLING and the chrome just don't fit in. I am a fan of chrome but not in this situation.

Nice rig...

^^yeah, the rims are factory & I painted them black.

GeotekHummer, thats kinda what I was feeling too - I think the black grill would really round out the 'blacked out' theme that is going on with my truck

dilo, I would have a good body shop that has done some really high quality painting for my friends and I (JUN bumper for his STi, ABT Sportsline grill for my TT), so if all things are the same, then the paint wouldn't chip any more easily than would the paint on the rest of the car
