So I'm interested to see what our beasts can do... What is the biggest/heaviest thing you have pulled so far with your H2? Please list any performance mods

My stock 03' pulls my 6X10 enclosed trailer about 3 times each month. Its packed with DJ equipment I would estimate around 2000 Pounds.

 

My 2006 Hummer H2 SUT hauls my 2012 Livin Lite VRV toy hauler. Unfortunately, a misfiring code found that I needed to replace the wires and plugs. In addition, my mechanic found that I have 3 broken manifold bolts. Just ordered new Gibson manifold, hope to have it installed in the next couple of weeks.

 

I tow my 2500# boat all the time, the heaviest thing I pulled was a Uhaul Auto transport with a '69 GMC pick up on it. I towed it 500 miles into a headwind and never got better than 7 mpg.

 

2013 Forest River Surveyor 240 sport. towed over 2,500 miles and before that had a 1997 aerolite 19rfb towed over 5,000 miles. My new one weights in at 7k fully loaded. 8mpg uphill,downhill and on flats. makes no difference when towing.

 

Towed my buddy's 32' Sunsation Dominator boat on a triple axle trailer about 100 miles round trip, the way to the lake was Chicago rush hour on I-90 (launched at Diversey Harbor in Lake Michigan).... On the way home we cruised 70mph. Towed it with zero issues, trans never got hot. We estimated the boat on the trailer with a full tank of fuel (110 gallons) was a bit over 9,000lbs. This was with my stock 2008 H2

 

I tow a four place snowmobile trailer loaded with four sleds and all the gear to go with them. not sure of the weight. it make my rig work but the xtra weight makes for a nice smooth ride.

 

I didnt took pics but my friend used my H2 to tow a 36 boat with 3 big 300hp engines .. this boat should weight several thousands pnds . maybe a little over the rate ..

He said it was fine as towing with any other super duty vehicle .

 

Im very , very , very , VERY jealous now

BTW . do you think I can fit a 12 ft long x 5 ft wide jetski (900 pnds) with trailer in one hauler like yours .... Thank you
