Hello H2 owners and enthusiast,

I am having a serious problem trying to locate the drain plug on my H2 that runs down the driver side from the sunroof. I have looked underneath by the firewall and I will also tried to run a coat hanger along the pipe that comes from the sunroof and I just cannot locate it. The parts dealership could not help either.

Can one of you bad ***'s help.

Try running some weed eater line down the drain tube.

 

It runs from the corner of the sunroof, down along the windshield pillar, then right along the firewall behind the instrument panel and comes out in the cowling. To get to the outside end you have to remove both from boxes, the wipers, then unbolt and remove the cowling. Passenger side one comes out in there too - and just about drips into the hvac blower.

Careful pushing anything stiff into the tube from above. There are tight turns in a couple of spots and you will likely either push the tube off the nipple on the sunroof under the headliner or you will poke a hole in the tube. Can also knock it loose if its clogged and you use high pressure air....

To get to the entire tube you just about have to remove the entire dash on the inside, literally.
