Default Best sounding exhaust/mufflers?

i am taking my H3 in to have the torsioin leveling kit... while its in the shop i'm gonna have my mechanic put on a new muffler... whats the best sounding muffler on the 5 cyl. H3? Anyone actually installed one?

I am a fan of the Flowmaster... cheap and sound great. But i am interested in the Borla and Magnaflow.

I had a flowmaster installed on my first H3 and it sounded okay. On my current H3, I just had my shop cut off the stock muffler and put a straigh pipe in and left the stock resonator. It sounds much better in my opinion than the flowmaster.

It is not that loud, but it does give that I-5 a more deep tone. I don't get any drone from inside the car. I will do a sound clip and post it on youtube sometime this week.

How about a FREE or near FREE exhaust....

On the H3 there is no need for a leveling kit. Read around this or any other hummer forum and you will learn just how easy it is to level your truck with nothing more than a tape measure, socket wrench, and 30 minutes. Enjoy the money you saved on the kit and purchase your exhaust.

Also you can look around there are some who have eliminated the muffler completely and just kept the Cat and Resonator.

I have the Magnaflow catback installed on my truck and I love how it sounds. It turns heads all the time.

I like the stock system the best, especially with the muffler painted black.
