good news: they've already it fixed. he said it was exactly what i told him. not sure if he looked up the tsb or not. my dealer is actually really good at trouble-shooting problems. however, it always helps when ive got a solid suggestion . thanks again to forum! such agreat source for info.

yep, the bulletin for moving the power steering pulley fixes the problem. we were changing the belts before the bulletin was issued. I'm glad GM came up with a fix for it without having to change parts!

 

Good to know. My Alpha hasn't had the problem but tomorrow is a new day.

 

Mine only squeaks when I'm getting it on! It's even worse if there is somebody with me.
