I'm looking for some info on belly protection for My H3. I brought some Hummer skid plates from the dealer, I see some members have sheet metal skid plate welded to them. where did you get them or if you make them please give me info. ie type of metal,gauge

 

The plates you ask of are from THOR, the owner of THOR is a forum member but no longer runs True HUMMER Off Roar parts but there maybe someone that has the plate set. I can't remember the gauge of the plate but it make the OEM UCP which are good even better. He also made some of the best rock sliders of the H3T (I have the Rocky Road Rock Sliders) and also front and rear bumpers. His parts are going to be trough to find now in days. Don't forget about the rear diff which there are two makers, Purple Cranim Spider (which is what I have), rubber duck and roc doc diff plate.
