Default Battery Drain

Has anyone experienced or heard of a battery draining issue; specifically related to the main door control switch? There are times when the radio remains on after the keys have been removed and the door closed. I know it may be the "door ajar sensor". However, I replaced the door control switch and I noticed that one of the internal lights (that enable you to see the switches at night) remains on after the keys are out of the ignition. Could this tiny light drain the battery, preventing start-ups? Any information on resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Peace.

first, yes.
i know electronics pretty well and i can tell you that a dome light can do it.
i have played a radio at normal volume all day and did ok but let a light on and you can kill it. surprisingly i never actually measured the various drains, just accepted it.
i have measured the normal h3 drain and its 110 milliamp, 1/10 amp after initial settleing of the computer, about 30 seconds.

extra add ons could change this so look for any mods that may be messing with it.
the driver door switch/module is always connected but takes no real power and is part of the 110 ma i guess. it has been discussed here endlessly.

you can pull fuses to isolate the drain source.
close all doors for testing!. use ma meters with care or blow them on volts.
