Is it normal to drain battery,and need jump start after playin radio for a few hours, with truck off,and just key turned?Battery,bout 3 years old, thanks

in other cars ive played radio all day,medium volume,ok,,,but let that xczxcd dome light on an i grab the jumpers.
i dont run h3 radio much,parhed cause i dont like the dinger and i like doors open.
if youre crankin up loud u may run down.
i never measured dome light current but the light IS a killer and its steady drain where radio current varies with music and volume.

can depend on charge condition prior also but normal driving usually keeps it up

 

Wouldnt hurt to clean terminals and make sure they are tight. Ive read here about how cheap H3 batt terminals cause problems.
