Hey folks, I'm curious if anyone can post a pic of the base wheels. The hummer site contains no pics of them outside of the configurator. They are steel and dark gray/black in color. I have a feeling no dealer would order one this way, so perhaps none of you have a truck with these wheels, but I think they would look terrific on an H3T with all of the black options (i.e., anti-chrome)

 

Look at tlh235 profile pic his has the black base wheels.

I'm having to look into painting or having mine powdercoated. I wanted black wheels but the dealership here dosen't order any with them. I saw a link a couple days ago that someone posted that showed how they did it I know it went to flickr but can't find it again.

 

That's crap that they won't order one with the black. When i put my order in i specifically told them that i wanted no chrome on the truck at all. I wanted the body colored grille and the black rims(they actually told me those were standard!)...amazing.

Also i'm pretty sure someone said on here that the spare actually has the standard black wheel on it. So if you do have to buy off the lot and get the chrome at least you have something to go off of for color purposes.

 

Yeah I got mine with the black wheels from the dealer as I wanted it.
