I know they have some pretty rough stuff out there and the possibilities for carnage are limitless... but it sounds
like you guys stayed pretty safe and sane. (Well.....perhaps not in Dave's case......That would be stretching it)

Can you imagine Classic Hummer doing their happening out there on the 13th without cleaning those trails up a bit ! ! !

How did your tires do? Any rubbing or bottoming out?

 

Tires, did well even though we got into some terrian we didn't want to tackle, I was backing up down a hill to turn around and I was in low lock and I couldn't move even with the Swampers. Dave got out and spotted me to go further back down this hill to get on some rock for traction and I was able to pull out. I did find that full turning of my wheels and in reverse I could feel the lugs knocking on something, still gotta see what it was, Im hoping the slight lift still to do will cover that issue. And you are right, the pics do no justice.

 

If you felt the contact as opposed the hearing it, my guess is the inner lugs are giving your steering gear some rubber lovin'......

If you were hearing it, I'd say those 10 inch wide rims were causing the outer lugs to contact the fender.

Mine come amazingly close to making contact, but haven't yet...and that is on a stock adventure setup...I haven't touched the FE on this new'07.

Should be pretty easy to find the shiny spots before you wash it....

Were you running aired up or down?

not sure about ray, but i had a blast...even though i left a few stains in my shorts from the tree root incident. i'm not even gonna try to bada$$ it. i was scared sh!tless that i was going to roll into the tree to the left. anyways, i've got some pics and vids to upload to picasaweb. i'll try to get those upas soon as i can. i know ray and i will be spending the majority of the week rubbing out all those damn scratches...
