Recently My 2000 H1 Wagon has started having a loud banging/thumping coming from the right rear during breaking and/or deceleration. Nothing during acceleration.


Anyone have any experience with this. or pointers on where to start. Im not going to drive it for now. I was thinking either geared hub or short shaft issue. But those of you more experienced might know whats up hehe.

My guess is a bad hub. I had a grinding sound during deceleration and not during acceleration and it was my right rear hub. I have a bunch of good parts from my old one if you only need only a part inside the hub. I am in Orange County CA. Good luck.
