Z, send me a PM with your tansfer case issues, it may just be normal. the temp isn't a big deal, long trips will heat it up to coolant temps. pics look good. y'all should lay off the cake though . . . . .

 

Yeah, I need to lay off the fricken cake, that's for damn sure .. lol! It was a damn good time. Hopefully HummerMike will have some additional pics for us here .. I'm pretty anxious to see the ones he took of me coming down the same hill as HG does in one of those pics .. and I think I'm still puckering from it LOL!

You damn Sally Nancy's. I can't take you off-roading for ONE day without you breaking something. WOW!

It was fun. Everything on my truck is ok, except for that horrid noise coming from the drivetrain in low, but it was working fine so whatever, I don't care. I'm definitely getting the underbody protection installed though, hopefully in the next few weeks. I'm not going back there without it, especially after getting stuck in that river...............

So, how many of you are up for the April 29th one? My wife regrets not going since she heard all the stories, so we are definitely going. I honestly want to go back in two weeks with her, so hopefully we can swing that. Maybe I'll go with Mike, that's assuming I get the cages installed. I have to get a brushguard as well. Now I know why everybody has those.

Oh, and I'm also cleaning off all the crap from the Dash. Dennis would love that ;-) I'm going to mount the LCD screen on the ceiling and probably remove the radar detector all together. I really don't use it anyway.

And another thing; ZYNE/Nick did incredibly well menuervering his H2. He got that thing through some tight spots we didn't even think he could get around. I know I was amazed.

I'm working on getting our pics and videos uploaded to Photobucket and YouTube. I'll have some links shortly. We don't have as many as Erik (Mike's Friend) but it's a start.

Had an absolute blast and can't wait to do it again. Assuming I can get it fixed before the 29th we'll both be up next time! I'll have to wait and see what the dealer says about it and the associated cost. Should be interesting ...

 

Well, I'm working with Patrick to get an Events section started on the forum. This will make it easier for us to keep track of what and where we are going. I'm all up for the Kentucky off-road trip if you are. My wife has been bugging me to take her there anyway. Should that be our next trip after the 29th? I think the 4 of us make a good team, and hopefully we can pick up a few more from here on the 29th.

We need to get RutDog out with us.

Mike, I'm definitely up for a trip down to Black Mountains but I'd be inclined to make a weekend/spend the nightdue to the distance/driving to get there. I know they rent cabins down there for a fairly cheap penny, I think 70 bucks a night ... but you get what you pay for so to speak. It's not The Hilton lol!

If we can all figure out a date that works I'll get in touch with the cabin folks and see if we can get a group discount rate or something. I also know theyhave trail guides to show us the good stuff .. these guys don't charge for their services but my buddy Mike did say they "tipped" the guy for his time which I think is only fair. Most of us being new down there, I don't think having a guide is such a bad idea. I know I definitely relied on Mike (HM) and his knowledgeof the Badlands this past Sunday (again, thanks bro!) ..

 

I too would be up for going, but I would want to leave here at a fri night then leave on sunday.
