I bought the Bosch Icons for my wife's car and than I saw a deal for the RainX brand. I bought the Rainx ones to put on my H3 and I wish I stayed with the Icons, they are way better. Design on the Icons are better than the RainX if you have to buy new blades go with the Icons.

I use ANCO winter blades this year and they are doing very well. Last winter I tried Valero , but they fell apart when they iced up.

I too swapped my blades out over a year ago to the Flexblade Wiper Blades. I first saw these at my hummer dealer for $35.00 each, I went to my local auto parts store & found the exact same ones for $15.00 each! They make a huge difference.

I also travel to New Hampshire a lot to go snowmobiling and it always snows up there almost 24-7 in Jan & Febso I install a windshield washer system called "Hot Shot". It heats up your windshield washer fluid before it squirts out and sprays hot fluid on your windshield to clean it quicker & better!! This was a huge improvement!!

Yea the stock blades are pretty bad. I use "Rain-X Latitude Premium Graphite Coated Wiper" one 17" and one 16". They work really well, Ice, Snow, Mud, whatever. I also use the Rain-X washer fluid, which I'm not so sure matters a ton but I'm happy with the combo.

I seem to remember reading that wiper blades are only intended to be used for about 6 months, as such I replace mine each spring/fall. I know UV lite is tough on them, and ice too.

On a side note, the wipers are covered under warranty. After the dealer replacedmine for the 3rd time in 8 months I decided to go with aftermarket blades.
