Default Bad Windsheild Wipers

With all the snow that we have been getting in the Chicago land area I am having some issues with my 3 month old 08 H3. The windsheild wipers are horable. They will freeze up on me and I can hardly see out of my front windows. I put the defroster on full blast and it doesn't really help too much. Does anyone know of any good winter wiper blades for the H3?

I put Michelin Symphony Blades on mine. They are a little pricey $17.99 ea, but they work great. We've been getting a snow/sleet/ice/rain back to snow mix here for the last two days and they have worked great. I didn't replace the back wiper and when I tried to use it this morning it was just a big icicle.

I just got those Michelin blades and they don't work very well. I got 17" for the driver's side and 16" for the pass. side (LHD car) and the 16 is especially bad, there's a path in the middle that it doesn't wipe very well and it doesn't seem to wipe at the outer edge (the top of the car as it moves along its arc)...

Next winter I'll just buy a pair of cheapo winter blades (those shrink wrapped ones)

Maybe it's a leverage problem, I put 17" on both sides and they are working great. hmm

I went through 3 already and they were pretty good ones. Chicago winters are the worst and no matter what they always get ruined.

My 07 suck too!! I noticed it from the first day I bought it. I have yet to find a good solution.

I just bought the Bosch Icon wiper blades and they are awesome. I put 17" on both sides and they work great. They are a "Beam" wiper. Their ad claims that they don't have a frame for ice to build up on!

Unfortunately, I can't speek for the effectiveness on snow and ice (thank goodness!) but if their rain performance is any indication, they would be an excellent choice!

I found this article when I was researching wiper blades:
