Default Backup censors or backup camera?

Does anyone have either installed and extremely happy with it? If so, where did you get it and how much did you pay for it?

Sensors are a bit difficult to install and use on the H3, because of the metal rear bumper ...I've installed a camera in the number plate housing with a dashboard display..works perfectly..Cost : $ 120 fitted..chinese of course..You just have to get used to the distance left by judging for yourself..Might be a bit more in the US..

I had the sensors on my H3 (installed when I bought is second hand)....and removed them last week.....it was just horrible with the metal bar in the back!

Camera is very useful.. Hard to see a little prius when your backing into a parking lot. BU Camera helps a ton.

I replaced the stereo with a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT and added a backup camera. System gives a camera and blue tooth. The camera is set up to come on in reverse. Works great. Everything cost about $550

Pioneer avh-p4200 $400 with $20 Pyle camera off ebay. Dont know what i would do without it. It automatically switches to the backup camera when you shift into reverse. You cannot see the camera unless you bend down and look under the spare tire.

Yep - what the others are saying is true about the sensors. The tire on the back can also fire off false readings, and the bumper is so high that in general, sensors are not all that useful anyway. There was a relatively inexpensive hitch-mounted sensor that wasn't horrible, but it was still limited.
