Back soreness driving the H3
You may be right Hummerguy. I can tell you this: In the winter (ie now) I am running with steel studded soft winter tires, which have been giving me CRAZY traction. The other day I took it out on a frozen lake (yes, the ice was thick, about 20 other cars were there) and did some driving around a race track and just general goofing off. I have done this in years past with other vehicles, and oddly enough, I actually felt a bit MORE scared in the H3 (price tag might have had something to do with it). Other vehicles I had driven this way you could really push it without fear, andthe tractionwould let go soonenough thatyou would just spin out and go spinning around. In the H3, it was actually getting such good traction that you could get up to some serious speed, andit seemed as if you did start to spin, you'd be going so fast you'd flip!
All in all, as we had hoped when we purchased, the H3 feels super solid when road driving in any condition. I can hardly wait for spring and summer as, while we are not serious rock crawling offroaders, we love to take off on picnics on the many logging trails that are in our area.

I like snow and cold weather and all, but I don't think I ever want to live somewhere where it's so cold that you can drive a nearly 3 ton truck on a frozen lake. That's frigid!
