And picked this drag chain up the other day as well, great for recovery and dragging stuff around like clearing tracks of fallen tree branches and stuff, even comes with it's own storage bag:

use chains with caution, if they snap it can be lethal and cause major damage. I've always used straps, and here in the states most offroad parks ban chains.

if you're pulling something treat it like a winch cable and drape a rug, heavy blanket, old leather coat etc over the chain so if it snaps it drops down to the ground instead of becoming a back lashing whip that'll mess up you, others, or your hummer.

I do like the mats, were they expensive? I like the husky liners, just not the price. also, do they have the eyelets on the front to go over the little hook to hold them in place?

Those OEM Hummer all-weather mats are the best, after 60k miles not even a hint of wearing through yet on mine.

Those floor mats are the best EVER! 113K on mine and they are wearing great (can't notice any). They catch all the mud and gunk and never curl up. They are well worth the $100 or so on eBay.

Yes they have the hook as they are genuine GM mats bought the set of four for $100 or so on eBay. The cargo mat was $60 from memory.

Don't use the chains for recovery or towing. They are drag chains used to drag logs and branches off the track, straps would get damaged doing this. No way the chains will snap dragging a branch or log, and no way the h3 will have enough ***** to snap the chain.

By the way I have worked as a rigging supervisor for over 12 years, and I am a qualified rigger by trade as well as a height rescue specialist, so I know what I am doing with chains and straps etc etc as I use them daily for work. But I agree they can be dangerous if used incorrectly by people who have no idea.

Well I have finally convinced someone to send me some factory GM offroad driving lights, the ones that mount on to of the windscreen.

Everyone wanted $450-500 to post to Australia and some would not even reply to emails, I have now payed $70 postage, and that also includes some other bits and pieces I have ordered as well, so it appears I have the factory offroad lights on the way.

My h3 already has the mini grill lights but have not connected them yet as I only wanted to pull the dash apart once, while dash is apart will hopefully swap out my head unit and add MP3 input as well.

I wanted to do a new head unit also but i was concerned about the factory phone thats built in not working with a new head unit. anybody know anything about this issue? will the phone still work with a aftermarket head unit?
