Attaching towbar?

Default Attaching towbar?
I have a 2008 H3 alpha and wondering if I can hook up a towbar to the front where he D rings are? Is it strong enough by itself or o I need to buy a backplate kit instead?

The D Rings are mounted directly to the Frame Ends and crash bar. What you planing on back plating?

There are some companies that make backplates to add to the frame for reinforcement. I was thinking about just adding a towbar by removing the d rings and running the bolt that holds the d rings in place. Any suggestion?

Thought on these brackets for towing my H3? They replace the hooks.

If the d rings can be used to pull an h3 out of a stuck situation I think it would be easier on the frame/hdwe just towing it on the smooth road.
