Can anyone suggest what to do about an arcing noise when I turn on the truck. It does not occur when I put my seatbelt on before turning on the truck...very strange. Dealership said it was just a hiccup and nothing could be done. I had an 2006 H3 with the same problem but they said the battery wasn't hooked up properly and they solved the problem. This does not seem to work with my current 2009 H3. Help please

 

there is a lock cylinder by the ignition that can be making the noise its controlled by the body control module.. you can try ordering the bcm from dealer hook it up (may need to be programmed) if it goes away buy it if not return it...
