If so how do you like it and is it really loud?

I pulled just the muffler part off my flowmaster cat-back to see if it would be worth it to make a straight pipe to swap in and out. In my opinion it sounded like crap. it wasnt much louder and it popped bad. i dont think the one foot of pipe would make too much difference in the sound. hope this helps.

Thanks the reason was to take as much weight off this truck as it's a tank . I went with some cherry bombs and it sounds great with no popping unless I was redlining and let off really fast but it's like 2 pops . I like it and that OEM muffler is reallly heavvvvy

It would have to sound like utter garbage to straight pipe an I5.
