Just wondering....
Anyone involved in the Hummer club of America or something similar? If so, do you find it beneficial and worth it?

I was a member of The Hummer Club for about 11 years. Seemed to be a lot more East Coast events. I am not a member anymore.

 

The Hummer Club Inc. (THCI) promotes itself as the only "national" hummer club in the US.
I find it's mostly H1 owners, some of whom look down on H2's and H3's as not "real" hummers.

I do not belong to THCI. I belong to a northeastern based hummer offroad club.
I find that regional clubs are better.

 

I find that HUMMER forums with designated areas for specific regions make it easier to meet up, wheel & wrench with other HUMMER owners. HF does not have anything like that.

THCI is national with regional events, membership fees, trip fees, etc.
I know and wheel with some THCI members every year. Some are OUTSTANDING guys, some are just model snobs who think the H1 is the only one. Some members won't take the time to know your name even after 5 years of attendance! I guess it depends on the group that is wheeling at that time what kind of mix you can expect.
