Default Anyone here have Fabtech tierods?

I've had mine on for a little over 2 years and they're worn. for some reason GM won't cover them under my GM warranty (can't understand that). Just wondering if anyone else has them on their ride and if you've had any issues.

Is this a result of what they found with your steering?

tie rod ends, steering stabilizer shock, pitman arm and idler arm. the only thing that's not tanked is the actual steering rod that they all ride on. surprised that's not bent or worn too. Fabtech has a 90 day warranty, but they've been great in the past, i'm hoping maybe they give me some slack on replacements. $260 each from 4wd parts wholesalers . . . . . bastards . . . . . but, gotta have it back, so i'll work all that out on the back end.

I have had Fabtech tierods for almost a year now on my H2. No problems. Knock! Knock! Probably about 8,000 miles since I installed them and 4 off road ventures.

My Fabtech Tie rods are worn after only 8 months, 3 moab trips and many many miles of trails. Thankfully 4wheelparts are going to swap them with new ones at no charge.

I want to try the tie rods made by Rare Parts. Anyone seen or used them?

It is a better to add Cognito Idler support kit before adding those fabtech tie rod. This kit will prevent the tie rods from getting into a severe binded situation.

Take a look at the Kryptonite tie rods. You are suppose to be able to buy new ends when they wear out for quite a savings. You do not need to replace the entire rod.
