Yeah, I'm NOT HAPPY with Karl at hitech!!!
I purchased my Chrome Hood Deck from him ($700 including shipping)
Interior Chrome Handles ($298 including shipping)
Chrome Rear Tow Hooks ($245 including shipping)
& Billet HUMMER letters ($189 including shipping)
ALL because he offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!
Well, everything is holding up OK, I take off the Hood Deck and Tow Hooks in the winter, but I have a problem with ONE of my billet HUMMER letters. ONE "M" is showing a little discoloration, so I contact him......takes over a week for him to contact ME, I tell him about it and he says...OK, Produce Your Receipt and I'll cover it!!! Well, it's been over 2 years since I bought them so I ask him can't he check HIS RECORDS(my address/e-mail whatever) and he flat out says NO(again, after 2 weeks and me e-mailing him constantly for a reply)!!
So I want a replacement so I figure...NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE, can I at least JUST BUY THE "M" from you? After 2 more weeks and NUMEROUS e-mails to him, he agrees and says he'll comp me for the shipping!! WHOPPEE DOOO!!!
So he sends me a PayPal request WITH SHIPPING ADDED!!![:@][:@][:@][:@]
Sorry, but I'm IN the "CUSTOMER" business, and I would NEVER treat a customer like this...even if they ONLY spent $10, never mind almost $1500!!!
