Thanks Tavion. What are they charging you for the brake job?

 

I'll be psyched to see your results - Yours should be in "normal" diesel range with the turbo, the forced air should keep things quite a bit cooler and I don't think the seals in the turbo would hold up to anything like what I'm seeing. If you can, get that probe in there pre-turbo - thats the best way to get an accurate reading on a turbo truck. Unfurtunately, I don't think mine is ever going to see a turbo 6.2 phase - I was going to put a turbo and a 4l80 in it and use it to pull for the jeep safari this year, but time didn't permit. I should be starting my cummins conversion in the next month or two, so that will be the first turbo my truck sees.
