Sylvania makes the Ultra and the Xtravision bulbs.H13ST &H13XV.
$35.88 & $14.88. Advance Auto Part. Not sure why one costs twice as much.

This is from the Sylvania websight. It appears the high and low beams use the same bulb?

Get the H13 HID Hi/Lo beam kit. You can't beat HIDs. I've got HID headlights and fogs in my Lexus IS300 and absolutely love them. That's why I just installed the HID Hi/Lo headlight kit into my H3. I suggest it to anyone. Look to spend about $160 for the upgrade though.

Doesn't that require the installation of a ballast too?

Got a brand and where you got them?

Yes, they require 2 ballasts and1high beam module for the two headlight lamps.I got a complete kit (plug and play) 8000K bulbs on ebay for about $160 shipped. I can talk to the dealer to see if he will setup Hummer H3 specific HID kits because I had issues installing them and making them fully work correctly. I am going to complete a full write-up on how to install the HID headlight kit in the H3. Let me know if you are interested. Anyone who can change their stock headlights out can install this kit.

I got my H3 a few days ago and I am not much of a modder butI can say for sure that I WILL be doing something to the headlights.

Have any of you had any problems at all after upgrading your headlights? Any issues with cabling? Heat? Power consumption?

I am a complete noobie when it comes to tinkering with the truck. Do the upgraded parts come with decent manuals / instructions?

LOVE my H3
