You do have other options, ARB locker, it's more of a precision made locker, a few more buck but worth it, also you can engage it when ever you want (engage first! then drive LOL) the otherbonus is you have an extra port on the compressor, so you can attach a hose and air up your tires after comming off the trail. The part # is RD84 GM 10 bolt 8.5 30 spline.

I had an Eaton Locker installed in my Base H3 over a year ago from the dealership... I can honestly say it was the best investment to the H3 I have made so far... I have had no problems with the locker since the install..

rather thana locker get a good set of mt's and a nice winch....the traction control in the h3 make it one step lower than having a full time locker...but 10 times better than a floating rear diff like you find on most stock trucks.
