Anybody know about Fuel Pumps?
Long story short, my in-laws 2001 Caravan fuel pump went out on me last night on the expressway, and they want $600 to replace it. I have no idea how labor-intense the process is. Does this sound right? I know fuel pumps range from $100 to $250 or so, but I don't know if its a fair price of if i'm getting ripped. What do you guys think?

Yeah, and I think importkiller is right (do not let it go to your head IK), an in the tank pump. I did one on my wife's old 98 Pontiac GTP. PITA, took several hours, hopefully their gas tank is almost empty, or you got to deal with that too.[&:]

it's really not that hard if you can raise the van up on jackstands.... Ford fuel guage senders are in the pump unit and we changed them out every couple of years.... I think that 350 is kinda high though.... 250 seems a little bit closer...
