Sam, No need to off-road to pick up a windshield rock. I got my first one on I-4 within the first month of ownership. It's just the way it is with flat windshield vehicles. Ask and Jeep owner...

Yep! My Hummer has 5k miles on it and the windshield has tons of tiny pits and I got a nice bulls eye from a rock on the freeway. I fixed the bulls eye with one of those kits you can get at the auto store. It has an injector thingy that I didn't believe was going to work...but it did! I can't hardly tell it's there unless I look really hard in the right place. I totally recommend using this product...$11 and I have enough left to fix a few more as they come along...which they most likely will!

Got my first one at 524 miles.... had 2 others and some pitting.. all on the highway. Its gonna happen.. just get them fixed so they don't run... Insurance will cover it on comprehensive.
