Anti seize on spark plugs is not a good idea. It changes the torque by adding lubrication, can lessen electrical contact if it isn't conductive. I've never used it in any of my cars.

Not needed at all. Spark plug torque is 18N.m/13 lb ft, possible seizing is a non-issue.

When I did my first spark plug change in 2014 I used anti seize on the new ones. Soon after my CEL came on and it was a cyl 5 misfire.
Maybe the anti seize contributed to it?

I use anti-seize on my glow plugs but they stay in for 100,000 miles.

It is always recommended to use anti seize on plugs in aluminum heads. You do not need to overdue it with the anti seize, just a lite coating is all thats needed. I have been using it for 20 years without a problem.
The only problems I have had is removing plugs that did not have it on to begin with.

I have heard people say that before, and I have heard of people saying they had a stuck plug in an aluminum head. I have never had that problem, I started playing with aluminum heads on LT1 Vette motors, and then small and big block Olds motors in the 70s. However, I am always super careful about the spark plug torque (I stripped one on a snowmobile in the early 70s and stranded my azz miles from the nearest road .... about froze stiff before somebody came by for a lift).

If you over torque and mash the threads, over time that could cause an issue. I will agree that if used correctly like whylee suggests, it won't hurt anything. IMH experience, I just don't see where there is a need for it.
