antenna x sells chinese junk. They are not even close to the quality of the factory antenna. I had one and it snapped off in a week. For a cheap fix. cut the factory antenna to a height you like and paint the exposed metal. Or go to a G.M. dealer and order a shorty antenna. They are 200% better than the chinese pot metal crap. I have never had to take my antenna off before going in a car wash before. that says it all.

I've been thinking about an antenna swap, but I'm pretty happy with the stock antenna... will have to wait and see the reception after the pioneer d3 goes in

 

any antenna you have to take off before going to a car wash is cheap junk. Buy a real antenna from the dealer. they can get any size you want. and it will not snap off oin a carwash.
