Default Another Newbie...

Love the site! Recently bought a lightly used 2006 H3 Luxury Edition, black on black. I've had a lot of unique vehicles in the past, but this one ranks at the top. So far, I've leveled the front and installed longer Bilstein shocks, added: roof racks, front brush guard, lower billet SS chrome slotted grill, K&N filter, built a super heavy-duty rear carry-all rack with 2" receiver. Everything else is stock. I'm having a lot of fun with this truck. The 3.5 is a bit under powered, but everything else more than makes up for that. I will be talking to Hunner about his CAI setup.

Looking forward to hanging out here and learning more about the "Hummer Society"!! Will

Nice rig. It's good to see so many new people around here.

Do you drive around with that rear rack attached to your hitch? Parking would be a nightmare!

Actually, yes. I have not taken it off since the paint dried! It comes in very handy and often. As far as parking goes, you just have to account for it. It would do serious damage to a Prius! It just barely fits in the garage! I'll bet the door clears it by 1". I don't take it off because it weighs over 100 lbs. and is awkward to carry and I just never know when I am going to need it. That's why I added the 2" receiver in it. I can still hook up a trailer or my boat.I guess the only disadvantage to keeping it on is that the rear door will only open about 1/2 way, but so far, that has not been a problem either.
