Default Another bump for Sea Foam.

I've had my 2006 H3 since March this year and it only had 60000 miles on it. The head was replaced at just under 50K. Anyway I have had the rough idle and the feels like it's gonna die when coming to a stop. I was a mechanic and still do some part time work here and there when I am in from offshore so I went down the list. Cleaned the throttle body cleaned MAF checked intake bolts and lines. Checked out all ignition out. Everything was OK and no miss fire found when I borrowed a scan gauge from a local shop. I was leaning toward fuel delivery. Sitting at a light the hood was shaking something terrible.

Anyway I have used sea foam for years fogging engines on cars trucks and motorcycles and I love the stuff. I have never added it to the gas tank on any of my vehicles since I run top tier gas in what ever I own. I got to thinking the prior owner probably just ran what ever gas in it they wanted so I dumped an entire can in on Wed filled it up and took a 100 mile road trip. Got off the interstate and seriously thought the engine had died at the light. Rough idle and stall feeling is gone so must have had a dirty injector.IT's really smooth so if you have gone through the regular run down on rough idle give it a shot.

I sure wish sea foam worked for me.. I have done almost everything, from T-body cleaning, MAF cleaning, air filter, new spark plugs, new coil packs, gumout, techron, seafoam, STP, and I still have a rough idle. Steering wheel and dash vibrate noticeably. Haven't had a misfire code in a while though.
2006 Adventure H3 with 74k miles. 13 MPG on average..

I add Seafoam to my diesels about every 4th tank.

I have never used Seafoam, always use Chevron Techron to keep the injectors clean. It's been working great so far but I may try Seafoam next time as a comparison.
